“Whenever you find yourself thinking like most people, pause, and think…”
Mark Twain
To personalize your life, you must first individualize your thoughts. But basically it is not necessarily psychological work, it is energetic. Because each collective thought is an egregore. Egregores are psychic entities created and nourished by human activities.
Definition from Wikipedia: An egregore (or eggregore) is a concept designating a group spirit constituted by the aggregation of the intentions, energies and desires of several individuals united for a well-defined goal.
This is the basis of all collectivism, when the We determines the I. Humans exist only thanks with the group. This concerns culture, sport, politics, history, opinions…. But freeing oneself from an egregore can be difficult, because from a certain dimension, the egregore develops an instinct for self-preservation and can prevent its members from leaving it.
All this reality goes beyond personality. For example, whatever one’s political orientation or sports team preferences, the approach is identical. An egregore is totally indifferent, it only resonates in frequencies, in intensity and energetic repetitions. Freeing yourself from egregores is therefore an impersonal process.
To personalize one’s thinking is to leave collectivism, it is to deploy the I despite the We. Political correctness, unique thinking, normo-thinking are all egregores limiting the deployment of the unique aspects of each person. To leave the multitude is to challenge and disturb the established order, both energetic and worldly. All individualization is a cosmic rebellion.
Detecting and observing this energetic reality is the first step. It is possible to experience mockery, obstacles and warnings when we approach the release of an egregore: this is completely normal and is even a good sign.
Leaving the highway of collective thoughts and beginning to walk our path of life is a major step in individualization. This path is our soul path, unique to each person. It is found through the personification of our thought. From this moment on, our life can take a new and unique turn.
